Our small flock of laying hens provide a healthy supply of eggs for our family. They are housed in a coop at night to protect from predators and allowed in to a large grass enclosure during the day. They also are sent to the garden beds to naturally manage grubs and insects. They are feed non-medicated fed and we use diatomaceous earth to manage parasites.
